FAQ
How does ordering and shipping work?
We roast to order in small weekly batches. The order cutoff is 9am PT on Sundays. Orders placed by then are roasted in that week's Monday batch, then QC'd, packed, and shipped the next day (Tuesday) via USPS or UPS. Anything ordered after the Sunday cutoff goes into the following week's batch. In-store pickup is also available at our cafe in Elk Grove!
What is our roasting style?
We believe in roasting each coffee to maximize its best characteristics. Each coffee and recipe undergoes continuous QC to ensure quality and consistency. All coffees behave differently, so there is no one recipe fits all.
Our espresso is generally roasted in a 'medium' range for a versatile yet balanced profile for both traditional and modern styles of espresso. The exception is our dark blend which is roasted specifically for lattes or drinks with added sugar/flavor.
Our filter is roasted 'light'. We aim to preserve the origin and character of each coffee but still have a solid amount of development.
We recommend resting our coffees at least 3 weeks before brewing. We find that most of them will peak between 4 and 7 weeks of rest.
Do you accept returns?
We are unable to accept returns for coffee, but if something arrives damaged or incorrect, email us at contact@harulab.coffee and we will make it right.
